Welcome to Our United Nations Links
We have included the United Nations in our site because it is probably the best way to reach countries around the world. Below we have a list of e-mail addresses and web sites which allow you to write to the various representatives of member, and Non-Member states of the United Nations. As well, we have added references to UN agencies for your information. Some of the agencies listed here are also on our Peace Workers page, as the sites listed also have employment information available. You can visit the United Nations from this page and search direct references to member's sites and their contact people in the UN.You can access all the sites listed by going through the The United Nations Home Page, then go through the layers from there. For instance the sites indented following Members of The United Nations can be accessed from that site. as well. This page just gives you a shortcut to where you might want to go. | ||||||||||||||

As well as The United Nations, there are other agencies which work for peace such as Medicins Sans Frontieres, The Peace Corps and others. We have a page set up where you can check out these Non-Government Organizations and Agencies (known as (NGO's). Many of their sites allow you to apply for Volunteer Work Around the World.
